Nathan T. Howard

Nathan T. Howard Jr. of Normal, formally from Tremont, passed away early Wednesday morning, February 25, 2026 at The Loft nursing home in Normal IL.

He was born on September 11, 1958 in Peoria to Nathan T. and Letha R. Hamilton Howard. They preceded him in death.

Surviving is one sister, Anna (Daniel) Staab of Metamora; one brother, James (Kim) of Pekin; three nieces and six nephews. Also surviving is a daughter, who he gave up for adoption, but never stopped loving, as well as her three children.

Nathan worked off and on as a small engine mechanic but mostly spent the last 50 years battling alcoholism.

There are no services planned at this time.
